Today I got to meet a mother and child in the Nexus. It was nice and the conversation I had with the mother had me reflect a little on my past. I wish there was more I could share of it with some people but I can't quite bring myself to.

Then there was that other person. It was most disturbing to talk to him. I think I must have a good poker face or I really wasn't bothered by his nature at the time.

He's from Gotham too. Or a Gotham. I should take care in case he fixates on people who don't appear to be bothered by him.

When did trusting people first turn into mild paranoia first?

Don't think he's started in our world yet. It's only been a year or two since Batman started in our world.
Us and Joker and Scarecrow are the only ones you could call supervillains yet.
Although frankly the Joker is a whole rogues gallery by himself, in our opinion.

He's an arm's dealer. They don't just pop up one day and say hello. He's been around longer than the Bat.

We have others. Guy called Clayface killed a friend of mine.

I pity anyone who tries to hurt us. My other half is not a very nice guy, to say the least.
