Ivy was actively seeking Altair in the Nexus. She wasn't sure if he was there but if he was she had something in store for him. Mostly because she had been pondering this for a long time.

He would have no idea what was in store for him. Though the slightly worrying part was when she found she was someplace that felt like someone had dropped a old church or temple of some kind near a large forest. She could tell there was a path leading away from the forest and the holy place. She wasn't sure if she would call it holy but it had the right feel. There was a sense of peace that came off the old stones.

But that didn't matter. The serenity would be quiet rudely disrupted once Ivy could locate the person she was sure was in the area.

The Assassin keeps his head down, but his eyes watch with a steadfast fierceness. When he sees her turn around, his recognition is instant. His eyes narrow slightly. "Ivy," he says; it's not a question.

Ivy's face lights up. She found him. It was a wonderful feeling to know that her trip back into the Nexus had been sucessful.

Slowly she approaches him. It was as if she was just coming ovr to futhor greet him. That wasn't the case.

The hand that wasn't occupied by her cane reached out and with one finger she poked him. It was pretty innocent. And she even snickered for a second then fled quickly and with much more ease than she had in a long time.

"Tag," she calls out. Then runs to the door. There's no hint of her triping or woprry at all. Hopefully Altair will join in on this game Ivy has tried starting.

Altaїr blinked absently at the spot Ivy had poked him, his eyes only moving from the spot after she was halfway to the door. He stared at her blankly, a hint of utter confusion in his features that only an old soul could find if they really looked hard.

He blinked again, took a moment more before finally moving. He rose slowly from his seat and moved out into the open area between the many benches. Once at the aisle, his demeanor suddenly changed completely.

He was quick--and that was an understatement. As she reached the door, he was already practically upon her. He had no idea of her game, but he did have the feeling she wanted to be followed and he would catch her if for no other reason than to get an explanation out of her for such odd behavior.

Ivy's shoulders tensed up when she felt him almost on her. But she was through the door in a quick instant. She didn't give herself time to breath. Instead she ran. At first she didn't relize where her legs were carrying her.

But then when she felt the crunch of twigs under one foot she knew she had ended up in the woods.

That was fine. She kept moving for a good few hundred feet. Unlike in their lesson Ivy did much better at not giving away where she was. But what she didn'yt like was the fact she couldn't tell where she was exactly. There was nothing that came up to her hip to help her judge her postion. Just things that reached her ankles or the trees that towered over head. This though would help Altair to some degree. He'd be able to see her even if she hadn't given herself away. After all it's easy to spot someone when all there happens to be is trees. Unless they know how to hide behind them which Ivy doesn't.

Altaїr kept after her, always just a hair's breath away from reaching out and grabbing her it seemed. He breathed deeply, but there was no tiredness in him. He simply kept running, even and secure steps keeping him going for as long as needed.

When they hit the forest-like area, the Assassin's steps slowed only slightly. This was not because he found the terrain difficult. Let her believe that if she wished, but truthfully he was just backing off of her for his own reason. His was a swift and calculating mind...

Ivy let out a breath of air. Then frowned slightly because everything she could sense in this so-called forest had a very distinct sense of being the same. It would be easy to get lost for most people.

Ivy decided to keep moving. So she picked up the pace at a jog making sure to not push herself. She had noticed that her sometimes still weak heart prootested running for long periods of time unless she could work up to that point.. Jogging though was fine and much less likely to force her to stop. There was no way she could be as quick as Altair until she had more time to fully recover from her illness but she's working hard to hide she's still recovering.

The Assassin seemed to disappear from "sight," or in Ivy's case sound. Suddenly there was just nothing to hear.

Altaїr had jumped into the trees. A moment later and if she could hear the sounds of a flitting bird through the trees over her own exertions, then perhaps she could hear his soft movements to keep up with her along the branches. But he was very, very quiet, and her jogging made noise so close to her ears.

Altaїr hopped out of the trees in front of Ivy with a soft thump. He stood up straight and eyed her. If she didn't stop in time he would catch her in his arms as she stumbled into him. If she veered away he would simply reach out and snatch her up instead. Either way, by the end of their small scuffle, she would be up against his chest being held in place with his arms wrapped around her.

Ivy stayed put after she had stumbled into him. She stayed quite for a few moments. Then she tilts her head up and flashes him a grin.

"So. You caught me," Ivy says in a fairly calm tone but it also does sound sort of playful. To her this was a very innocent situation. Though she knew he could have easily caught her in that church. She had been lucky

The Assassin nodded in reply to her simple question. Then he gently pushed her away, carefully placing her back on her own two feet.

"Was there a purpose to this silliness?" Altaїr asked in his "dead-serious" monotone--his usual tone.

Ivy's eybrows arch up. She isn't sure if she should be bothered that he doesn't recognize this as a game.

"You've never ...played tag before then?" Ivy rests her hands on her cane not really moving at all. It's a credit to her sense of blance that there isn't even a slight sway as she's standing there.

Altaїr tilted his head to the side, a genuine look of curiousness crossing his features. "What is 'tag'? A... game of some sort? I've never... oh." A hint of smile tugged at one corner of his lips. "A game of chase. What is the meaning of the word 'tag'?"

"It's a game where basicly people chase each other back in fourth. Tagging means well, you've been 'caught' so it becomes your turn to do the chasing." Ivy gives an ammused sort of noise. "I...thought this might be fun."

Well it is. It got them both moving.

Altaїr shrugged. "I see." He paused for a second, glancing around at their surroundings as if he heard something before looking back at her and continuing. "Chase is a basic training exercise for the brotherhood." He smirks as he says the next. "You never know when you're going to be chased through the city streets or rooftops next."

Ivy hadn't heard anything. But it was fine if he chose to keep watch. "Chase is something most children play, back home. There's usually a group of maybe...twenty children? I'm not sure how many there are exactly but I can always hear them racing about as if that game is more important than anything else."

Altaїr was sometimes twitchy when he sat in one spot for a length of time. Glancing around was his way of keeping occupied--and it didn't hurt to be wary in his line of work.

He nodded absently. "That's a lot of kids in one area. A healthy neighborhood?"

"It's pretty healthy. I think I'm one of the few unmarried women in the area. Most people are married with children. They're all fairly nice people too. " She's not going to mention the regular cat fights she has with the woman next door. Women shouting over stupid things can't be very interesting.

"I see," the Assassin said noncommittally. He glanced over his shoulder, but there was nothing really to see except more trees and greenery. He couldn't even seen the end of the foresty area from where they were.

Ivy shrugs slightly. "It's just...I don't interact with them. I don't need to."

Ivy had almost missed hearing that bird flitting through the trees. It was because she was trying to get back to near that 'church'. But hearing the bird made her slow down. She still wouldn't be able to hear Altair.

Not really realizing it though her path had changed slightly because of that bird. The sound had drawn her off her path a bit. It just wasn't enough to get her lost though. But it would be something for Altair to take notice of.
