Phoenix, Vikings, and funtimes

Ivy had found something to wear of course. Like most women she has a cloest full of clothes. So she's ready for anything the weather might bring. Right not she's waiting in the shade of a tree listening to the people going past her. Thankfully the city is cooling down. And it also will be nice to get inside the museum. After all, there is all that nice air condtioning.

Oh, and of course a date. That's a plus that can make any girl forget how hot out it is. After all, it had been a long time for her. Like ten month period. Then again she is pretty damn sure that Phoenix has just as much trouble, or more trouble, than she does.

He nods. "It's been helping me gain a little more perspective into the grey areas, honestly. It's sort of hard to be judgemental when you have all the ranges of good and bad in pretty much everyone you run into. Though that isn't to say there aren't some people who are just plain dangerous." He furrows his brow as he thinks about it.

"Sort of," he says, sighing. "The Sanctuary's been having a lot of incidents with violence lately. Lots of crazy people and scary things. So the barrier being up can only improve the situation." He massages the bridge of his nose. "So I hope, anyway."

He rubs his chin. "Maybe. I haven't really played them at all myself, though. I guess they could be completely different from my life. But I'm not in any particular hurry to find out, frankly." Less he knows about the embarrassing secrets being shared about him, the better.

"Yeah, I think it'd be neat. And if it gets too weird we can just go back to my apartment or something." He blinks. Wait, how did that come off? "Dah, er, I meant to talk, or something. Take shelter from the weird. Yeah." Cough.

"If you're sure." Phoenix rubs the back of his neck. "I think I might take a bit of a walk myself before I head back. It's kind of neat being in a whole new world." He pauses. "Don't worry, I'll keep out of any area that looks bad." He lives in LA. He knows all about avoiding the bad areas.

"Well...I think personally that's like, everyone you meet. There's some good and bad in everyone. It's like everyone has their own parts mixed in. It's what makes peole so...Interesting."

She frowns lightly. "Then if I ever go I'll have to be careful then. And I really hope things get better there."

She quirks a grin. "Well if it breaks your brain hat much? Don't play them. nd try not to be so worried about what other people think about you."

That has her blushing. "Ummm...Right. To escape the weirdness and stuff. I mean...just for a while. It's not like you'd jump my bomnes." Oh god she said that out loud! Small flail! "..>I...I didn't mean to say that. Oh gosh."

"I'm sure." She tilts her head a bit. "Just be careful. The city can be pretty dangerous at night if you're not careful. Thankfully the Museum is near the nicer parts of the city."

"Yeah, but sometimes the Nexus really takes it to its limits." He rubs his face. "But I guess it can't be helped in a place with so many viewpoints."

He nods. "It has its ups and downs. It's got a lot of nice people that hang around there, though. You really should check it out. Bar's free, anyway." He grins.

"I... guess so. Right. From here on I'm just going to choose not to think about it." He nods sagely. "...hopefully."

Phoenix BLUSHES. If she could only see it. It's really cute. "D'ah, um, well, uh, it'd be a bit, uh, soon anyway, so. Um. Yeah. D...don't worry about it." Phew. At least in HER case it's a joke.

He nods. "I figure if I keep to the heavily populated, well-lit areas I should do fine. Don't worry about me." He smiles. "So... see you later, then?"

She shrugs lightly. "I haven't encountered anything like that...And you're probably right."

She chuckles lightly. "All right. I'll check it out sometime."

She smirks! Yes, smirks at him! "Good for you."

"...Ummm...Good. I um, didn't mean it like that." Tiny flailing.

She looks happy with him. "Just stay safe. And of course!" She pauses then pulls out a small card that has her phone number scawled on it. "Here...So you can um, call me."

Phoenix raises his eyebrows as he takes the card. "Wow, uh, thanks." He rubs the back of his head. "I'll try and call sometime this week? Maybe?" He chuckles nervously. "Anyway, it was nice being with you today. I had fun!" And he means this sincerely.

She flushes again. "You're welcome. I had alot of fun. And...I'll look forward to it. Um. If you have time and stuff." She looks a little nervous agauin. Well, mostly because she's wondering if she can get away with giving him a hug.
